Natalie Meisner is a writer from Lockeport, Nova Scotia. Her plays have been produced across the country, won numerous awards, been collected in book form and appear in numerous Canadian Anthologies. Her new book Double Pregnant: Two Lesbians Make a Family is her lighthearted and informative true account of two lesbians who want to have children. It will be published in Spring 2014 by Fernwood Publishing. Natalie’s works include Double Pregnant, Growing Up Salty & Other Plays, Outspoken, and Lesbian Plays: Coming of Age in Canada.

Arleen Paré’s first book Paper Trail won the Victoria Butler Book Prize and was shortlisted for the Dorothy Livesay BC Book Prize in Poetry. Arleen completed an MFA in poetry at the University of Victoria and her poetry and prose have appeared in a number of Canadian literary journals. Before beginning a career in writing, she worked for two decades as a social worker in mental health housing in Vancouver. She now lives in Vancouver with her partner, and has two sons and two grandsons.

Andrea Routley’s work has appeared in numerous literary magazines, including the Malahat Review and Room Magazine, and in 2008, she was shortlisted for the Rona Murray Prize for Literature. She is the founder and editor of Plenitude Magazine, Canada’s queer literary magazine. She edited Walk Myself Home: An Anthology to End Violence Against Women (Caitlin Press, 2010), which continues to receive praise from magazines like Bitch, Herizons, Prairie Fire and the Vancouver Sun. In 2012, she completed a degree in writing from the University of Victoria. She currently lives in Victoria, BC, with her girlfriend and their ferocious cat, Travis.
