Congratulations to Sara Farizan. Her young adult novel If You Could Be Mine won both the Edmund White Debut Fiction Award and the Ferro-Grumley LGBT Fiction Awards at the 2014 Triangle Awards. If You Could Be Mine is about a young lesbian considering gender-reassignment surgery.
