Keira Michelle Telford is an award-winning dystopian science fiction author with a love for the gruesome, the macabre, and the downright filthy. She’s a British ex-pat, now a proud Canadian citizen and living in British Columbia with a small herd of guinea pigs. The guinea pigs (all adopted from animal rescue shelters) were the inspiration for the monsters in her books, the first one of which, SILVER: Acheron (A River of Pain), was released in November 2011.
Her first lesbian fiction book, The Magistrate, was released in June 2013, and is the first volume in The Prisonworld Trilogy. She later released SILVER: Lex Talionis, the first volume in The Outlier Trilogy. And there’s more to come! Previously a canine behaviorist and pet nutritionist, Keira Michelle is an animal lover and a self-professed guinea pig expert. Mostly nocturnal, she stays up all night writing and sleeps in the morning. She’s rarely seen in daylight, so if you catch her when the sun’s still up, approach slowly and with great caution.
Writing quirk: She writes in omniscient third person, present tense.
